Apprenticeship Program

for Yoga Teacher Training

If you are ready to dedicate your life to yoga, an apprenticeship is the means to cover the financial and relational aspects of the student teacher relationship. Below is a breakdown of what you give, and what you receive, as an apprentice at this school.

  • Apprentices at our school are expected to follow core moral and ethical discipline guidelines as set by their teacher; these lifestyle aspects represent karma yoga (yama, niyama) and are the foundation of our practice and are non-negotiable.

  • Apprentices must maintain a consistent practice of hatha yoga (asana, pranayama, pratyahara) through the guidance and shared knowledge of a senior teacher at the school.

  • Apprentices are encouraged to pursue a practice of meditation (dharana, dhyana, samadhi) or another type of deep spiritual connection in accordance with ones own set of beliefs.

  • Apprentices are allowed free tuition to yoga teacher training.

  • Apprentices are expected to contribute 1 hour of their time for every hour of time that is given to them, in an even trade system set forth in a contract signed by both parties, or they may choose a 50% or partial internship, where they contribute a specific portion and pay the remaining balance.
